Guide

What a ceramic dining table gives you

A ceramic dining table has a top made from a porcelain ceramic slab fired at high temperature, resting on a solid wood or metal base. Because the surface is non-porous it does not absorb liquids, does not stain and does not scratch in everyday use. The heat marks, water rings and gradual dulling that wood tables show over time do not happen on ceramic. That is why a ceramic top is chosen for homes with children, for tables that host often and for open-plan kitchens. At Hazel Form the ceramic top is paired with the solid bases and leg forms we make in İnegöl; the look is close to natural stone, the care is far simpler.

Surfaces and prices

The price of a ceramic table depends on three things: size, surface pattern and base form. A larger size raises the cost of both the slab and the base. Veined patterns such as Calacatta Gold sit differently from Unique Matte or travertine-look surfaces, and polished or matte finishes also move the price. Cylinder, fluted and cone legs each ask for different work. Prices on this page are product prices; the delivery fee is calculated separately in the cart, by country and by the volume of the order. You can change every option in the 3D design tool and see the price update at once.

Choosing a size for four, six or eight

The right size follows the width of the room and the number of chairs. A 190 by 90 cm ceramic table seats six comfortably for everyday use. The 200 by 90 and 200 by 100 cm sizes give six people more room and reach eight with a chair at each end. The 220 by 100 cm table is meant for large families and homes that host. Leave at least 75 cm of free space on every side so chairs can be pulled out easily. If you are unsure, send us the size of your room on WhatsApp and we will choose together.

Care and durability

Wipe the ceramic surface with a damp cloth; it needs no oil, wax or special cleaner. Hot pots and pans can go straight on the top. Acidic and coloured liquids such as vinegar, lemon, coffee and wine leave no trace. Knives and forks do not scratch the surface in daily use, though we still recommend a cutting board. The slab is hard, but avoid dropping heavy objects on the corners. A damp cloth is enough for the wooden base and legs. Our tables are covered against production faults and transit damage.

Frequently asked questions

Not in everyday use with cutlery and plates. The surface is non-porous porcelain ceramic; we still recommend a cutting board.

Yes. The ceramic slab withstands high heat; hot pots and pans can be placed on the surface without leaving marks.

We ship packed and insured to Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland. The delivery fee is calculated in the cart by country and order volume.

Yes, before production starts. Every table is made to order, so the size cannot change once production has begun; we suggest a quick WhatsApp chat before you decide.
